1. Operator and purpose
Fēmina Officium is operated by Consultoria Virtual, Berlin, Germany. Contact: mail@consultoriavirtual.com. These terms govern the platform’s free pilot for professional networking, opportunities and learning, with a focus on women’s careers. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled. These terms do not replace any separate legal disclosure required of the operator.
2. Eligibility and your account
The pilot is intended for people aged 18 or over who can enter into an agreement. Provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure and tell us about suspected misuse. You may act for an employer or other organisation only if authorised. Do not impersonate another person, share access to someone else’s account or misrepresent qualifications.
3. Free pilot and available features
Account creation and the platform’s current job, networking and course features are free. We do not process payments or charge recruitment fees through this pilot. Features may be incomplete or temporarily unavailable. Any future paid service would require separate, clear pricing and agreement; creating an account does not authorise a future charge.
4. Listings, employers and independent agreements
Members are responsible for their listings, applications and communications. Employers must provide genuine, accurate opportunities, have authority to recruit and follow employment, equality and data-protection law. Our focus on women’s careers does not permit unlawful discrimination. We do not act as an employer, recruitment agent or party to agreements between members. No job, response, income or professional outcome is guaranteed.
5. Your content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you upload and must have permission to share it. You give us a non-exclusive permission to store, display and transmit that content only as needed to operate the features you use, according to your visibility and sharing choices. This does not transfer ownership or permit unrelated advertising use. Respect copyright, confidentiality and other people’s personal data.
6. Profiles, CVs and applications
A public profile may be viewed by people outside the platform. A non-public profile can still be viewed by signed-in members when you have active listings, and in relevant application, messaging or connection contexts. CV files are not public directory content: applying shares the selected CV version with the relevant listing owner. Replacing a CV or withdrawing an application does not automatically delete the submitted version or copies already downloaded. Request removal through our legal/privacy email.
7. Respectful and lawful use
Do not post fraudulent offers, unlawful discrimination, harassment, threats, sexual exploitation, malware or content that infringes rights. Do not spam members, collect CVs for unrelated purposes, publish another person’s private information or scrape personal data without a lawful basis. Do not bypass access restrictions or interfere with the service. Do not ask applicants to pay for a promised job or disclose account passwords.
8. Courses and third-party services
Instructors are responsible for their course content and rights to share it. A course is not a guarantee of accreditation, licensing, employment or professional advice. External links and video services have their own terms and privacy practices. Check those before using them. Agreements for services outside the platform are between the relevant parties.
9. Reports, restrictions and review
Report illegal content, scams or other concerns to mail@consultoriavirtual.com, identifying the page, listing or account and explaining the concern. Do not send unnecessary sensitive data. We may investigate and restrict content or accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, a breach of these terms or a legal duty. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and allow you to respond or request review by email. Urgent protective action may happen first.
10. Leaving the platform
You may stop using the pilot at any time. Email us to request account closure, data access or deletion; there is no cancellation charge. We handle personal-data requests under the Privacy Policy. Closing an account does not cancel separate agreements you made with another member or erase copies they lawfully hold. Limited records may remain where legally required or necessary for an unresolved dispute.
11. Availability and responsibility
We take reasonable care in operating the platform, but do not promise uninterrupted access or independently verify every member, vacancy or course. Keep your own copies of important documents and assess third-party offers carefully. Liability is determined by applicable law. Nothing here excludes or limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Mandatory consumer and digital-service rights remain unaffected.
12. Changes, applicable law and contact
We may update these terms for legal, security or service changes and will identify the updated version. Material contractual changes will be communicated and, where required, require your agreement; silence alone will not be treated as acceptance. German law applies, without removing mandatory protection available to consumers under the law of their usual residence. No exclusive court or compulsory arbitration is imposed. Contact mail@consultoriavirtual.com with questions or complaints.
